Police appeal after man is assaulted in Derby

Police appeal for witnesses after a door supervisor was assaulted at a pub in Derby.

On Friday, June 13 at 3am at The Hairy Dog on Becket Street a door supervisor who worked at the premises approached two men who looked to be in an altercation with a group of men.

The door supervisor explained to the men that it was closing time and they had to leave. As he turned away from them he was punched to the side of the head.

This resulted in him needing hospital treatment for a broken jaw.

The men were described as white and in their early to mid-20s. One of the men was 5ft 10ins tall with short mousey brown hair. The other man was 6ft 3ins tall and of a heavy build. He had short shaven hair and was wearing a grey tracksuit.
