Girl robbed of mobile phone in Derby

Police appeal for witnesses after girl has mobile phone stolen in Derby.

On Sunday, July 6 at 2.20pm a 17-year-old girl was walking along Carlton Road towards Warwick Avenue in Littleover when she noticed a man walking behind her.

He then approached her and attempted to steal her mobile phone. He pushed her hands and managed to grab the phone. He ran off along Valley Road towards Warwick Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Chris Riches at Derby CID using the non-emergency number 101.
