Four Derby people charged with drug offences

Four people have been charged with drug offences following a police operation in November last year.

On November 28 2013 officers carried out searches in premises on Osmaston Road in Derby and at other addresses in the city.

Two men and a woman were arrested on that day and another man was arrested several weeks later.

Maria Persico (50) of Limedale Avenue, Derby, Amjad Ashraf (32) of Madeley Street, Derby and Mudassar Riaz (31)of Crewe Street, Derby have been charged with conspiracy to produce cannabis.

Stephen O’Neill (46) of Coleridge Street, Derby was charged with conspiracy to produce cannabis, possession of heroin and abstracting electricity.

All four have been bailed to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on 17 July, 2014.
