Police appeal for witnesses after woman is assaulted in Derby.

On Wednesday, June 18 at 6.20pm a man and woman were walking on Alvaston Park, Meadow Lane when an altercation took place.

The man threatened the woman and then allegedly punched her in the face. The man then ran up Meadow Lane towards London Road.

A 35-year-old man has been arrested and released on police bail.
