Police appeal for witnesses after a pregnant woman was robbed in Derby.

On Wednesday, July 30 at 3.25pm a woman was walking along Co-Operative Street having just crossed over Society Place when she saw a man on a bike.

As he passed her he snatched her necklace from around her neck. He then rode into Society Place and the woman lost sight of him.

The man was described as white, aged 24-25 years old, 5ft 7ins tall, of a slim build with short dark brown hair. He was wearing a silver long sleeved top and was riding a black and white BMX type bike.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Adrian Mason at St Marys Wharf police station using the non-emergency 101 number.
