The bike was seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.

PCSO Marion Jeffery, of South Normanton and Pixton Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “Residents living in the area have told us that off-road bikes are causing a real nuisance so we have made the issue one of our priorities to tackle.

“We are conducting regular patrols in the places where the bikes are being used and we are urging residents to contact us if they see any riders causing a nuisance in the neighbourhood.

“We will issue the riders with warnings but if they persist, their bikes will be seized.”
