Witness appeal after break-in at Hathersage home

Posted on 2nd June 2014

Police are appealing for witnesses after a house in Hathersage was broken into during the day.

Burglars prised open a window and searched the house, in Coggers Lane, between 3.15pm and 3.35pm on Thursday, May 29.

Nothing was stolen from the house and it is believed an intruder alarm might have disturbed the offenders.

Police investigating the offence believe that a green motorbike may be connected and want to hear from anyone who spotted one in the area.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call Derbyshire police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
