B & M Home Store at Derby burgled

Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary at B & M Home Store on Ascot Drive in Derby.

The burglary happened sometime between 5.30pm on Sunday May 11 and 7am on Monday May 12 when intruders broke in through a hole in the wall.

Officers believe the thieves filled suitcases, stolen from the store, and wheeled them away in a shopping trolley.  The trolley was found abandoned on nearby waste ground outside Rolls Royce.  A getaway car may have been parked on Dunstall Park Road.

Property including electrical goods, toiletries, sheets and other household items were stolen.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious should ring the police on 101.
