Two men robbed as they walked along Derby road

Robbers took mobile phones and cash from two men who were walking along a Derby road in the early hours of the morning.

The victims, both 18, were walking in Duffield Road when they were stopped by two men as they neared the Five Lamps pub.

They were threatened and forced to hand over their iPhones and cash before the men ran off.

One of the robbers was white, about 6ft 4ins, in his early 20s, and wore a baseball cap, hooded top and black Nike gloves.

The second was black and wore a blue jacket and baseball cap.

Police want to hear from anyone with information relating to the incident, which happened at about 12.15am on Friday, June 6.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting crime reference 23739/14.
