Appeal issued for witnesses to an assault at Boutique in Derby

Police in Derby are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Boutique on St James’ Street in Derby.

The alleged offence happened at about 2.50am on Saturday May 31 when a 27-year-old man from Loughborough received serious facial injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the incident should contact DC Rebecca Clulow on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously.

Jamie Burnett (26) of Brindley Court, Allenton in Derby was arrested in connection with this offence and has been charged with wounding with intent to do serious grievous bodily harm.  He appeared at Derby Magistrates’ Court on June 2 and is due to appear at Derby Crown Court on June 16.
