Police appeal for witnesses after man robbed petrol station in South Normanton

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man threatened staff at a petrol station.

On Thursday, June 26 at 7.10pm a man wearing a mask entered the Shell Garage on Alfreton Road in South Normanton and threatened staff with a weapon. He made off with a quantity of money.

Police chased the man down Hamlet Road and Market Street and was arrested on South Street Park.

The 20-year-old man is currently in police custody.
