Appeal after woman is robbed in Killamarsh

Police are appealing for information after a woman was robbed in Killamarsh.

The incident happened between 1.30pm and 2.20pm on Monday, June 23 when a 33-year-old was jogging along a pathway, off Field Lane.

She was stopped by a man, walking a dog, who asked her for the time and then demanded her purse.  She handed over cash but was then punched and pushed by the man.  He stole the pink Nike backpack she had been carrying.

She suffered bruising to her face and collarbone.

The man is described as being in his 40s, around 6ft tall, of skinny build and with long unkempt dark hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt, three-quarter length trousers and boots.
