Good Samaritan who helped injured woman in Matlock Bath asked to come forward

Police in Matlock are appealing for a Good Samaritan who took an injured woman to hospital to come forward to help with inquiries.

A 37-year-old woman who had suffered facial injuries was dropped off at Whitworth Hospital at around 7pm on Monday, March 10, after being picked up by a passing motorist on Clifton Road, Matlock Bath.

The motorist who stopped was a woman with dark hair. The make and model of the car is unknown.

Officers are keen to speak to this Good Samaritan to help them with their investigation.

Police are investigating the circumstances of how the woman sustained her injuries.

The motorist, or anyone who knows her, is asked to get in touch with Derbyshire police on 101.
