Appeal after man disturbs burglar at his Derby home

Police in Derby are appealing for information after a man disturbed a burglar in his house.

Just after 1am on Friday, March 14 the occupant of a house on Ramsdean Close woke up after hearing a noise and went downstairs to investigate.

He found a youth in his living room and shouted at the intruder who ran out through the front door.

The burglar was wearing a dark hooded top, jeans and was approximately 13-years-old.

A watch and mobile phone were stolen.
