Police appeal for information after robbery at Derby bookmaker

Detectives investigating a robbery at a bookmaker in Derby have released a CCTV still of a man they want to trace.

A man used a firework to threaten staff at the Betfred branch in Ashbourne Road, Derby, and made off with a quantity of cash.

The robbery took place at about 8.40pm on Tuesday, March 25 and saw the offender run off towards Nuns Street.

He was white, aged early to mid-20s, about 6ft, and wore a dark hooded top with the hood up and a red bandana across the lower half of his face.

Police have released a CCTV still as part of the investigation.
