CCTV image released in connection with Derby mobile phone robbery

Derby-phone-robbery-CR-7734-14Officers investigating a robbery have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with their inquiries.

The robbery happened at 11.30pm on Saturday February 22 at a flat on King Street in Derby when a 25-year-old man was threatened with a knife and his mobile phone was stolen.

A man aged 22 and two women, aged 21 and 18 respectively, have been arrested in connection with the investigation and were released on police bail after being questioned.

Officers are trying to trace the man who is pictured on the CCTV image and believe his name may be Gio. They are appealing to him or to anyone who recognises him to contact them on 101 or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
