Police appeal after woman is robbed in Derby street

Police appeal for witnesses after a robbery of a girl in Derby.

On Friday, March 28 at 10.30pm a woman was walking along Charnwood Street when she was approached by a man. The man grabbed her Sony Xperia M mobile phone out of her hand and snatched it away until the headphones came loose. The man then ran away in the direction of Normanton Road.

The man was described as white, 5ft 9ins tall and of a medium build. He was wearing a black Parker style jacket with brown fur around the hood, with the hood worn up, light coloured trousers and grey trainers.
