Police have released a photo of a hand-built mountain bike which was stolen after burglars broke into a shed.

The offence took place at a property in The Town, Little Eaton, between 7pm on Monday, April 28 and 8am the next day.

An Orange 5 Kashima bike was stolen from the shed. It is black, with the word ‘Orange’ on the frame and ‘Five’ written on a rear wheel arm, gold front suspension forks and gold rear shock absorber. The upper bar of the frame is curved beneath the seat and the bike has Maxxis tyres.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have spotted the distinctive bike. Do you know its whereabouts, or have you been offered it for sale?

Anyone with information should call Derbyshire police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
