Walker has mobile phone taken from his pocket by cycling thief

A pedestrian who was walking along a street in Derby had his phone taken from his pocket by a thief on a bike.

The 21-year-old victim was listening to music on his phone when a man cycled up behind him and removed the phone before riding off.

The offender was riding a black bike and wore a black hooded top, black cap and black jogging bottoms.

The theft took place in Carlton Road, Derby at about 3.50pm on Wednesday, April 30.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call Derbyshire police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
