Woman sexually assaulted in Belper

Police seek witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in Belper.

On Wednesday, May 21 between 11.15am and 11.25am a woman was walking her dog in a field at the rear of Whitemoor Medical Centre when a man grabbed her from behind, exposed himself and touched her inappropriately.

The man was described as in his early 30s with short dark hair. He smelt heavily of cigarettes and had a bare chest.

Another dog walker approached her and the man ran off.
