Woman robbed in Ilkeston

Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery in Ilkeston on Sunday May 4.

The offence happened at about 7pm at the junction of Regent Street and Nottingham Road when a 37-year-old local woman was approached from behind by three men.

They demanded her property so she handed over her bag containing her phone and purse.  She described the men as being white and in their 20s.  One was wearing jogging bottoms and a hooded sweatshirt, the other wore jeans and a black top.

The offenders ran off down Nottingham Road towards Park Drive.
