Woman hit with a bottle in Derby

Police appeal for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Derby.

On Thursday, May 8 at 3.30am a woman left Fever bar on the Wardwick and was approached by a man.

The man pulled at the woman’s top and underwear. The woman reacted by punching the man, he then struck her head with a glass bottle.

The man ran off towards Revolution bar, down the Strand and towards Friargate. He was described as Asian, 30-years-old with a gold tooth/teeth.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Jake Warwick at St Mary’s Wharf police station.
