Body recovered from Derbyshire reservoir

Police have recovered the body of a man from a reservoir near Clay Cross.

A member of the public called police at about 3pm on Saturday, May 10, after spotting the body in Ogston Reservoir.

The man was aged between 50 and 60, of slim build, and was balding with dark hair. He was wearing a black, zipped jacket, a navy sweatshirt and blue jeans. 

Police have checked missing persons records and have not been able to identify the man.

Officers want to hear from anyone who might know the identity of the man, or may know someone matching that description who they have not seen for a short time.
