Student robbed of his phone and wallet after night out in Derby

Detectives in Derby are appealing for information after a student was robbed as he made his way home after a night out the city centre.

At around 3.20am on Saturday, May 10 a 19-year-old man was walking home along Bridge Street when he heard a voice behind him demanding his phone and wallet.

The victim turned round to face the offender and fell to the floor. He handed over his phone and wallet and then ran home and contacted police.

The offender is described as white, in his 20s, around 5ft 9ins tall, of stocky build and wearing a light grey hooded jumper and jeans.
