Two men have been charged in connection with a robbery in which the victim was allegedly forced to hand over cash and mobile phones.
The 52-year-old victim was walking in Bold Lane, Derby, on the afternoon of Friday, May 9 when he said he was shoved to the ground and forced to hand over cash and two mobile phones.
Police arrested two men later that day and both have now been charged in connection with the incident.
Scott Baker, 37, of Andrews Drive, Langley Mill, was charged with robbery. Malcolm Baker, 39, of Station Road, Ilkeston, was charged with handling stolen goods.
Both were remanded in custody and were due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Monday, May 12.
