Two arrested in connection with assault in Derby

Two men have been arrested in connection with an assault that left the victim with a fractured skull.

The incident happened at about 5.30pm on Tuesday, September 16 outside a shop in Upper Dale Road, Normanton.

A 32-year-old man was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre, in Nottingham, with head injuries and has since been discharged.

Two men, aged 19 and 21, have now been arrested in connection with the assault.
