CCTV image released in connection with attempted shop theft

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the attempted theft from a Langley Mill supermarket.Asda-Langley-Mill-theft

Between 12.15pm and 12.30pm on Wednesday, May 7 two men entered Asda on Station Road and placed a large amount of razor blades inside carrier bags on a trolley.

They made their way towards the exit but after seeing security staff they left the goods behind and walked out of the shop.

The first man is described as white, around 35 to 40-years-old, with blonde hair. He was wearing a cream coloured jumper, dark trousers and black shoes.

The second man was white, with dark hair and was wearing a grey top and dark trousers.
