Two men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of breaking into a disused hospital after they were found with a missing boiler.
Police were called to Alvaston Park by a member of the public who had spotted a suspicious white van in a car park at about 10.20am on Tuesday, May 20.
Officers found two men in the back of a white van with a boiler, copper piping and tools.
The boiler and piping was believed to have been stolen from the old Derbyshire Royal Infirmary site, off London Road, Derby.
Two men, aged 26 and 34, along with a 21-year-old woman, were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
They have been bailed pending further inquiries.
