Police appeal for help to trace distinctive mountain bike stolen in shed burglary

Thieves broke into a shed at a house in Belper and stole a valuable mountain bike from inside.

A black Norco Sight1 mountain bike was taken after the offenders removed the door from a shed at a house in Marsh Lane.

The 20-gear bike has a curved upper bar on the frame, Fox suspension forks on the front wheel and a mud protector fixed to the front of the frame, which has two eyes on it.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have information on the break-in or the whereabouts of the distinctive bike.

The break-in happened between 11.30pm on Saturday, May 10 and 3.10pm on Sunday, May 11.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting crime reference 19490/14.
