Witness appeal after burglars try to break into garage at Derby home

Police are appealing for witnesses after two youths were seen acting suspiciously around a garage that was targeted by would-be burglars.

The lock on the door of a garage in Millom Place, Chaddesden, was forced but the offenders did not manage to get inside.

Two youths, believed to have been in their teens, were seen acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the offence, at 11.30pm on Monday, May 26.

One was white, of slim build, wearing a grey hooded top with the hood up and Adidas written on the back.

The second was white, of slum build, with short, dark hair, wearing a blue or black tracksuit top and dark trainers.

Police want to hear from anyone who might have seen the youths in the area around that time.
