Police appeal for information after man was assaulted in Derby.

On Saturday, May 24 between 11pm and 11.30pm a man and woman was walking along Albert Street in the direction of the city centre when they became involved in an altercation with three men.

One of the men hit the man on the side of his face which resulted in him having a broken jaw and requiring surgery.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Charlotte Yeomans at Derby North CID using the non-emergency number 101.
