Boy assaulted in Buxton

Police seek information after a boy was assaulted in Buxton.

On Thursday, May 1, between 8.15am and 8.40am, a 15-year-old boy was walking along Charles Street, under what is locally known as Aldi Bridge.

A man approached him and head butted him which resulted in the boy suffering a possible broken nose and needing hospital treatment.

The man was described as white, wearing white trainers with black laces, black tracksuit bottoms with stripes down the side. He was scruffy looking.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Helen Sayers at Buxton Police Station using the non-emergency number 101.
