Witness appeal after collision on A52 near Raynesway

Police investigating a collision in which a motorcyclist came off his bike on the A52 near Raynesway are appealing for witnesses.

The rider was heading along Brian Clough Way near to the Raynesway turning when traffic caused him to slow down.

He was then in collision with another vehicle that approached his white Yamaha bike from behind, but the driver of the second vehicle failed to stop at the scene.

The 17-year-old rider fell from his bike, which had minor damage, but he was not seriously injured.

The collision happened at about 8.15am on Thursday, October 9.

Police want to hear from other motorists who might have witnessed the collision and could help identify the second vehicle.
