Man's death in Chesterfield not being treated as suspicious

Police in Chesterfield are investigating the sudden death of a man at Chesterfield College of Technology and Arts.

Officers were called to the college, on Infirmary Road, at 6pm yesterday (Tuesday November 4) by a member of the college staff.

The body of a man had been found in the grounds of the college.

Police are not treating his death as suspicious and his next of kin has been informed.

The man has not been formally identified but is believed to be a 45-year-old from Staveley.
