Three charged after aggravated burglary in Hilton

Three men have been charged and remanded in custody after an alleged aggravated burglary in Hilton.

Ryan O’Connor, Daniel Fenn-Dawkins and Ashley King have all been charged with aggravated burglary, assault, kidnap and theft.

The trio are accused of taking items belonging to a 21-year-old man from an address in Derby, and then forcing him to go with them to a house in Soar Close, Hilton.

They are then alleged to have forced their way into the house and assaulted a 21-year-old man at that address before fleeing.

The incident took place at about 11.30am on Tuesday, November 4.

O’Connor, 43, of Portland Street, Derby, Fenn-Dawkins, 24, of Village Street, Derby, and Ashley King, 25, of Donington Drive, Derby, have now been charged with the four offences.

They were remanded in custody and were due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, November 6.
