Police appeal after robbers force their way into Derby home

Two men forced their way into a flat in Derby and stole cash after threatening the occupant.

The incident happened at a flat in Hartington Street, Derby, at about 11pm on Friday, November 7.

A 21-year-old woman was at home when she heard a knock on the door and answered it. She was confronted by two men who forced their way past her and into the property.

They then took cash from inside before fleeing.

Both offenders wore black clothing with scarves covering part of their faces. They were both white, of skinny build, about 5ft 8ins, and had blue eyes.

Police investigating the robbery want to hear from witnesses or anyone who can help police identify the men responsible.
