Officers are investigating two assaults in Shirebrook.

Derbyshire police are investigating two assaults where two men received facial injuries. The first took place on Monday, November 3 at approximately 8pm on Central Drive and the second took place on Wednesday, November 5 at 7.30pm on Church Drive.

Police are treating the incidents as being connected. Both assaults involved groups of youths and were in public places.

Officers would like anyone who may have seen anything to contact Amber Valley CID using the non-emergency 101 number.
