Three men smashed a window at a service station next to the A38 and made off with cigarettes and cash.
The offenders approached the BP fuel station, off the northbound carriageway of the A38 near Egginton, just after midnight on Monday, November 10.
They smashed a window and climbed inside, before stealing money and cigarettes.
A shop worker was punched during the incident but was not seriously injured.
Police want to hear from witnesses or anyone who saw suspicious activity or vehicles in the area around the time of the robbery.

A 31-year-old man was arrested in connection with the offence and has been bailed pending further inquiries.
