Police appeal for witnesses after man was stabbed in Matlock.

Today (Monday, November 17) at 2.15pm a 26-year-old man was walking on the Hurst Farm Estate in the area of Lumsdale Crescent and Hazel Grove, when he was approached by two men.

One of the men stabbed him in the chest and as a result he has been taken to hospital for treatment.

Police are appealing to anyone that was in the area at the time to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 396 of 17 November, with any information.
