Youth injured in collision in Ambergate

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision in Ambergate on Friday November 21.

At about 7.30pm on Friday a Honda 125cc motorcycle crashed on the A610 Ripley Road in Ambergate.  No other vehicles were involved.

The motorcyclist, a 17-year-old youth from Belper, was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham suffering from serious injuries.

Anyone who saw the collision or the motorcyclist prior to the collision should contact DC Bernard Glynn on 101 quoting incident number 637/21/11/14.
