Appeal for information on whereabouts of stolen fuel bowser

Police are appealing for information after a fuel bowser containing 1,000 litres of red diesel was stolen from a site in Derby.

The tanker belonged to Derby City Council and the fuel stored inside was due to be used by machinery at Markeaton Park.

The yellow bowser had been stored in an area of the park when it was stolen.

Police have now issued photographs of it and want anyone who has seen it in recent weeks to call on 101.

The bowser was removed from the park between 11.30pm on Sunday, November 2 and 9.30am on Monday, November 3. The images have only recently been made available.

Anyone with information on its whereabouts should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting crime reference 46524/14.
