Jewellery stolen by robbers who forced their way into Chesterfield home

Two robbers stole jewellery from an 81-year-old woman after forcing their way into a house in Chesterfield.

The offenders knocked on the door of a house in Wharf Lane at about 10.30pm on Monday, September 29.

When the homeowner answered the door, the men forced their way past her and searched the house, making off with a number of jewellery items. They also took a bracelet that the victim was wearing.

Police investigating the offence want to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have been offered jewellery for sale.
