Two arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after warrant at Long Eaton house

Two people were arrested on suspicion of growing cannabis after police carried out a warrant at a house in Long Eaton.

Officers searched a property in Pennine Close at about 9am on Thursday, October 9 and found what were believed to be cannabis plants inside.

A 26-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of producing a class B controlled drug with intent to supply.

The suspected cannabis plants were seized by officers along with other equipment from the address.
