Police appeal after man suffers broken nose and foot in nightclub assault

A man was taken to hospital with a broken foot and nose after he was assaulted in the smoking area of a nightclub in Derby.

The 27-year-old victim had been in Lola Lo, in Victoria Street, Derby, when he was attacked and knocked unconscious.

He was kicked and punched during the assault, which happened at about 2.20am on Sunday, October 5.

He was taken to Royal Derby Hospital with concussion, a broken nose and a broken foot.

Police are investigating whether more than one offender was involved in the assault and want to hear from anyone who was in the nightclub and may have witnessed it.

The main attacker was white, about 5ft 11in, of average build and with short, dark hair. He was with two other men, one of whom was also white and described as being well-built. There was no description of the third man.
