Appeal for information after money is stolen from a house in Alvaston.

On Wednesday, October 22 at 11am two men walked into the garden of a house and said to the home owner that they were in the area looking for a water leak.

They asked to check the radiators, the man showed them into the bathroom. They then shut the door and held the handle so the man couldn’t get out.

The men left the house and stole an amount of money from the property.

Anyone who may have seen two men acting suspiciously in the area is asked to call DC Becky Turner at St Marys Wharf police station on 101.
