Burglars take car after breaking into house and stealing keys

Police are appealing for witnesses after the keys to a car were among the items stolen from a house in Chaddesden.

Burglars broke into a property in Albert Road between about 12.15am and 8.30am on Sunday, October 19.

They took items including a handbag with cash, bank cards and keys inside.

A black Vauxhall Meriva with an 05 plate, which had been parked outside the house, was then taken by the offenders. The vehicle has tinted windows.

The burglars also took tools from a van parked at the address.

Police investigating the offence want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area around the time, or who might know the whereabouts of the vehicle.
