Police investigating the attempted theft of alcohol from a shop in Derby have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to.Tesco-attempted-theft

A man tried to steal a large quantity of alcohol from Tesco Express, in Stenson Road, Derby, but left empty handed after being challenged by security staff.

The offence took place at about 10.30pm on Saturday, July 12.

Security camera stills have now been issued of a man police want to speak to in connection with the incident.

Anyone with information or who recognises the man in the images should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting crime reference 29069/14.
