Two men have been charged with aggravated burglary after an incident at a house in Derby.
Just after 9pm on Saturday, September 6, police were called to an address in Gerard Street after reports that people had allegedly forced their way into the premises and assaulted the occupants.
Five people have been arrested in connection with the alleged offence. A 26-year-old woman was released without charge, a 33-year-old man was bailed pending further enquiries earlier today and a 33-year-old woman is still being questioned by detectives.
Two men have now been charged with aggravated burglary. They are Joseph Grogan, 26, of no fixed abode, and Nicholas Millward, 30, also of no fixed abode.
They were remanded in custody and are due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, September 9.
Officers are investigating whether a firearm was used during the alleged incident and want to hear from any witnesses.
Two occupants of the house sustained minor injuries but not as a result of being shot.
