Police appeal after man is robbed in Alvaston

Police appeal for witnesses after a man is left injured and has cash stolen in Alvaston.

At around 10am this morning (Friday, September 19) a man was walking along Coronation Avenue when a man on a pushbike approached him.

The man on the pushbike punched the man in the face and ripped a bum bag from his waist which contained an amount of cash.

The man on the bike then rode off and it is thought he went in the direction of Bembridge. He was described as 18-19 years-old, wearing all blue clothing and had a black rucksack on his back.
