Man arrested on suspicion of breaking into parked car

A 36-year-old man was arrested after allegedly being caught breaking into a parked car in Swanwick.

Police were called to Horton Close at about 4.20am on Wednesday, April 1 after reports that a Ford Mondeo had been broken into.

A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle and remains in police custody.

Witnesses or anyone with information on the incident should call Derbyshire police on 101, quoting crime reference 13316/15.
